With Staycircles, you save $100s on hotel bills by staying with friends or friends-of-friends when you travel. All you need to do is download the app, add friends, and propose a stay. This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to do that.

Whether you’re travelling for a business meeting with your company’s business partners, want to catch your favourite band on tour performing in a foreign city, or planning an adventure to see the Grand Canyon, you’ll need to secure some form of accomodation to rest, refresh and safely keep your personal items and valuables.

The usual way to sort this is to book hotels at your destination, preferably as close to the meeting or concert venue as possible. Sadly, the increasing costs of hotels and flights continues to make travel near impossible for the average person.

Booking a hotel for a domestic trip in the U.S. for instance, costs an average of $130 per night depending on the location and reputation of the hotel you chose. This can easily total into hundreds and even thousands of dollars depending on how long you’re in town, making travel more expensive and out of reach.

Hotels are expensive and can easily cost you $1000s.

When you can afford it, hotels may offer some comfort with dedicated room and cleaning services. But a hotel room all to yourself can get lonely and boring real quick and it’s even worse when you’ve got a few nights of free time towards the end of a business trip. Even with the new travel trend of home sharing rental apps, lodging remains expensive. Not to mention that you’ll be sharing a home with strangers you’re meeting for the first time.

But what if you were able to save money when you travel for fun without spending a dime on hotels or in the case of a business trip, earn 31% of the regular lodging costs and save your company 31% of what they’ll usually pay for hotels?
